If you are from the Southwest Michigan area, you may have heard of the Niles Elite Cheer team. This Champion Force program promotes and exemplifies so many honest and important qualities that are vital in developing children’s self-esteem, keeping them motivated, and creating a sense of belief that they can accomplish anything they may put their minds to. The coaches create a positive learning environment, the cheerleaders put their heart and soul into practices, and as a team they work together to fundraise to get to their competitions all over the country!

All the skills set’s that these cheerleaders develop throughout their time on the team can help them further down the line in college, in their future jobs, when they have families of their own, and more. Not only is it cool to be able to flip backwards and fly high up in the air with cool stunts, but you learn to trust and how to work as a team. Niles Elite Cheerleading has different levels for all age groups and skill sets. You can start as early as four years- old and cheer until the end of your senior year of High School. After that many of the team members have such a dedication and love for the sport that they come back as assistant coaches to continue this awesome experience.

The Niles Elite Cheer team is full of spirited and hard-working members who are currently working towards their goal of sending some of their older teams to Nationals in Las Vegas this summer. Here are some ways you can get involved in helping them show off all their hard-work and bring home some wins, while supporting these life-long valuable lessons they learn from being involved in a team!

3rd Annual Niles Elite Cheerleading Golf Scramble.

If you like golf then sign up to play with a foursome for $240.00 or individually for $60.00 on April 29th, 2017 at the Hampshire Country Club in Dowagiac, Michigan. This includes green fees, golf carts, and food! There will be chances to win raffle prizes as well! So, if you want to donate some cool gear to auction off send it their way! It’s a win-win, you’ll get free advertising while the cheerleaders get steps closer to Nationals! You can also become a sponsor and promote your business while helping these kiddos reach their goals!

Platinum- $1,000.00

With this level, you will have a large logo on the T-shirts, be a Hole Sponsor, have a banner hung up, and a pass for four free golfers!

Gold- $500.00

With this level, you will have a logo on the T-shirts, have a sign on a hole, and a pass for two free golfers!

Silver-$250.00

With this level, you will have a logo on the T-shirts, and have a sign on a hole.

Bronze-$100.00

With this level, you will have a name on the T-shirts, and have a sign on a hole.

The Niles Elite team has just wrapped up two other neat fundraising events as well. So, keep an eye out for them again next year. They put on a wine & canvas night for ages 21 and up. This is one of my personal favorite event ideas because I love to paint! You follow along with an instructor and enjoy a glass of wine. Perfect for a girls’ night out and it is super relaxing! Another event that the team just wrapped up was called Rise-N-Roll. They partnered up with a nearby Amish bakery and sold some mouth-watering items like apple fritters, cinnamon caramel donuts, and all types of cookies. Last but not least, Summer is right around the corner! So, that means the team may hold more of their car-wash events soon too! Be sure to check out their Facebook page for updates on what is to come!

If interested in joining, find some more information at http://championforce.com/michigan/. Which I totally recommend because cheerleading is good for the soul and I am not being biased because I participated in the sport my whole life… well maybe a little. Even if competitive cheerleading may not be of interest to you, I encourage everyone to find a sports team or other after school program to join. The experience can hold so much value that you do not realize until you are the one standing on the outside again. Plus, it keeps your kiddos out trouble and if that isn’t stress reliever enough then I don’t know what is!
